Bengaluru, September 30, 2025 – Aishwarya Pissay, India’s leading rally rider, has etched her name in motorsport history by becoming the first woman from Asia and India to win her class at the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal 2025, Round 4 of the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC).
Racing in the Rally2 – Women’s category, the Bengaluru rider not only topped her class but also secured an impressive 27th overall position in a grid packed with elite international competitors.
Competing as a privateer in one of the world’s toughest rally-raid series, Aishwarya’s feat stands as a monumental achievement for both Indian and Asian motorsport. Supported by TVS Racing and a coalition of committed partners, she has emerged as a symbol of perseverance, independence, and excellence in global rally-raid racing.
