The Citroën AIRCROSS SUV has achieved a coveted 5-star safety rating for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), underscoring the French automaker’s growing commitment to safe, smart, and customer-centric mobility for Indian roads.

This recognition marks a crucial step in the brand’s journey under its Citroën 2.0 strategy, which focuses on blending aspirational design, comfort, and advanced safety features. Already renowned for its plush ride quality, the AIRCROSS now stands as a complete package, combining comfort, versatility, and world-class safety credentials.

Exceptional Crash Test Performance

The AIRCROSS performed strongly across Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), and Safety Assist Technologies (SAT) in the Bharat NCAP evaluation. The SUV features more than 40 active and passive safety systems, including:

• Six airbags
• Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
• Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
• Hill-hold assist
• ISOFIX child seat anchors

Constructed with high-strength steel, Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS), and Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS), the AIRCROSS ensures robust crash protection by minimizing cabin intrusion during impacts.

Safety Meets Comfort & Versatility

Beyond safety, the AIRCROSS is equipped with features designed for convenience and driving comfort:

• LED projector headlamps for enhanced visibility
• Automatic climate control with rear AC vents
• Power-folding ORVMs

Under the hood, customers can choose between two efficient engines – the 1.2L Gen 3 PURETECH 110 turbo and the PURETECH 82 naturally aspirated engine, delivering up to 110ps power and 205Nm torque.
