ERC Fan Awards 2025: Voting Opens for Livery, Rookie, Drive and More

September 13, 2025 – Fans of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) now have the chance to celebrate their favourite stars, moments, and designs of the season with the ERC Fan Awards 2025. Voting has officially opened across five categories, giving rally fans worldwide the power to decide who takes home the end-of-season honours.


Five Categories for Fans to Choose From

This year’s fan-driven awards will cover a wide spectrum of rally highlights:

  • ERC Livery of the Year
  • ERC Most Improved Driver of the Year
  • ERC Stage-End Quote of the Year
  • ERC Drive of the Year
  • ERC Rookie of the Year

Voting for each category opens on different dates between 13–19 September, with all polls closing on 22 September at 18:00 CET. Fans can cast their votes exclusively through the ERC’s social media channels.

ERC Livery of the Year (Voting from 13 September)

  • Simone Campedelli – Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 (Rally di Roma Capitale)
  • Vittorio Ceccato – Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 (Rally di Roma Capitale)
  • Meirion Evans – Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 (JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion)
  • Błażej Gazda – Renault Clio Rally3 (all-season)
  • Norbert Herczig – Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 (42nd Rally Sierra Morena)

ERC Most Improved Driver (Voting from 14 September)

  • Jon Armstrong (ERC1)
  • Calle Carlberg (Junior ERC/ERC4)
  • Tristan Charpentier (ERC3/ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy)
  • Miko Marczyk (ERC1)
  • Martin Vlček (ERC1, Master ERC)

ERC Stage-End Quote of the Year (Voting from 15 September)

From Mads Østberg’s humorous “I smell good” to José Antonio Suárez’s candid “Sometimes I am good, sometimes I am idiot”, the nominees showcase the passion and personality of ERC drivers. Other quotes come from Philip Allen, Eyvind Brynildsen, and Simone Campedelli.

ERC Drive of the Year (Voting from 17 September)

Outstanding performances recognised include:

  • Eyvind Brynildsen (BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia)
  • Roope Korhonen (ERC Staff House Rally Hungary)

ERC Rookie of the Year (Voting from 19 September)

Future rally stars up for recognition include:

  • Ioan Lloyd (Junior ERC/ ERC4)
  • Craig Rahill (Junior ERC/ERC4)

Awards Night in Croatia

The winners, chosen entirely by fan votes, will be revealed at the ERC Awards Night in Croatia on 5 October 2025.

ERC championship manager Iain Campbell said:

“Since they were introduced in 2022, the ERC Fan Awards have proved to be extremely popular. It’s really good to give fans a voice by choosing their favourites from a stellar line-up of nominees. Like every year, I can’t wait to find out who wins because it’s the fans who decide.”
