Tesla Launches India’s First In-Mall Charging Station at Nexus Seawoods, Navi Mumbai
Navi Mumbai, April 6, 2026: Tesla has strengthened its presence in India’s EV ecosystem with the launch of its first in-mall charging station at Nexus Seawoods in Navi Mumbai. The new facility marks a key milestone in the company’s growing Supercharger network across the country.
Located in the B1 parking level of Nexus Seawoods mall, the charging hub features a total of eight chargers, including four V4 Superchargers (DC fast charging) with peak speeds of up to 250 kW, and four Destination Chargers (AC charging) delivering up to 11 kW. The mix of high-speed and standard charging options is designed to offer flexibility and convenience to Tesla owners.
With Tesla’s Supercharging technology, the Tesla Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes, making it ideal for intercity travel such as Navi Mumbai to Pune. The company highlighted its seamless “Plug In, Charge and Go” experience, supported by an industry-leading uptime of 99.95%.
Tesla continues to expand its charging footprint in India, building on existing locations in Gurugram, Delhi, and Mumbai. With the addition of the Navi Mumbai site, Tesla now operates four charging stations nationwide, comprising 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination Chargers.
To enhance customer engagement, Tesla has also opened a pop-up store in the main atrium of Nexus Seawoods mall. The experience center allows visitors to explore Tesla vehicles through guided walkarounds, immersive displays, and test drives, offering insights into the brand’s design, safety, and electric mobility technology.
The launch underlines Tesla’s commitment to accelerating sustainable mobility in India by integrating charging infrastructure into everyday destinations such as shopping malls, highways, and urban hubs.
The Tesla Model Y is currently available in India starting at ₹59.89 lakh, with home charging support further enabling a seamless ownership experience.
