Toyota Kirloskar Motor Registers 20% Growth in FY26, March Sales Surge 24%
Bangalore, April 1, 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported a strong 20% year-on-year growth in FY 2025–26, with total sales reaching 4,06,081 units, compared to 3,37,148 units in FY24–25. The performance underscores sustained customer demand, a balanced product portfolio, and Toyota’s continued focus on future-ready mobility solutions.
The automaker also closed the fiscal year on a high note, registering 37,194 units in March 2026, a 24% increase over 30,043 units sold in March 2025, reflecting strong end-of-year momentum.
Domestic and Export Growth Drive Performance
Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s growth was supported by both domestic and export markets. Domestic sales stood at 3,67,107 units, up 19% YoY, while exports saw a sharper rise of 41%, reaching 38,974 units during FY26.
In March 2026, domestic sales grew 24% to 35,125 units, while exports also increased 24% to 2,069 units, highlighting consistent demand across markets.
Strong Portfolio Across SUVs, MPVs and Hybrids
The company’s growth was driven by sustained demand across its SUV, MPV, and compact car segments, supported by multiple product updates and special editions throughout the year.
Key highlights included the introduction and updates across models such as:
- Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and new GR-S grade
- Toyota Fortuner and Legender variants, including new editions
- Toyota Innova Hycross special editions
- Toyota Camry Sprint Edition
- Toyota Hilux Black Edition
- Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and tech upgrades
These updates helped sustain customer interest and strengthened Toyota’s position across multiple segments.
Safety and Technology Strengthen Customer Trust
Toyota continued to enhance its safety proposition, with key models such as the Toyota Innova Hycross achieving a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Additionally, the standardisation of six airbags across models like Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor, and Hyryder further reinforced customer confidence.
The company also introduced feature upgrades such as:
- 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT) in AWD variants
- Electronic parking brake in select models
- Enhanced in-cabin tech packages
