Renault India Records 77% Sales Growth in March 2026, Kiger and Triber Lead Momentum

New Delhi, April 1, 2026: Renault India has reported a strong 77% year-on-year growth in March 2026, with total domestic wholesales of 5,046 units, compared to 2,846 units in the same month last year.

The company also posted steady full-year growth, closing FY 2025–26 with 42,018 units sold, marking an 11% increase over 37,900 units in FY25. This performance highlights Renault India’s improving traction in the competitive Indian passenger vehicle market.

Kiger and Triber Drive Sales Growth

Renault’s growth momentum has been led by the updated Renault Kiger and Renault Triber, which together accounted for 63% of total sales in March 2026.

Both models have witnessed strong customer response following their updates, reinforcing confidence in Renault’s refreshed product lineup and value-focused positioning.

Sustained Momentum Since Launch

The new Kiger and Triber have delivered consistent growth since their launch in Q2 FY26, helping Renault India achieve a cumulative growth of 27% through the remainder of the financial year.

This sustained performance reflects the effectiveness of Renault’s renewed product strategy, which focuses on offering premium value, practicality, and affordability to Indian consumers.

New Duster Dispatches Begin

Adding to the momentum, the latter half of March marked the start of dispatches for the all-new Renault Duster, one of the most anticipated SUV launches in India.

The reintroduction of the iconic Duster is expected to further strengthen Renault’s presence in the SUV segment and contribute to future growth.

Outlook

With strong double-digit annual growth, rising demand for the Kiger and Triber, and the rollout of the new Duster, Renault India is well-positioned to build on its growth trajectory in FY27.

The company’s continued focus on product refreshes, value-driven offerings, and expanding its SUV portfolio is expected to play a key role in driving momentum in the months ahead.
