Kia India Registers Best-Ever March Sales, Achieves Record Q1 2026 Performance
New Delhi, April 1, 2026: Kia India has reported its highest-ever monthly sales for March 2026, with 29,112 units sold, marking a 14.5% year-on-year growth over 25,525 units in March 2025. The automaker also achieved its strongest-ever quarterly performance, clocking 84,316 units in Q1 2026, up 11.6% YoY compared to 75,576 units in the same period last year.
The milestone underscores Kia Indiaโs continued growth momentum in the mass-premium segment, driven by sustained demand across its product portfolio.
Seltos Leads Growth Momentum
The companyโs performance has been spearheaded by the updated Kia Seltos, which has consistently delivered over 10,000 units in monthly sales since its launch. The SUVโs bold design, advanced ADAS features, and its 5-star Bharat NCAP ratingโthe highest for an ICE vehicle in Indiaโhave reinforced its strong appeal among buyers.
Alongside the Seltos, the Kia Sonet continues to be a key contributor in the compact SUV segment. The model now offers greater accessibility to automatic transmission variants across both petrol and diesel options, starting under โน10 lakh, enhancing convenience for urban buyers.
Carens Line-Up Adds Premium Appeal
The Kia Carens lineup continues to witness steady demand, supported by the introduction of Clavis ICE and EV variants. With GT-Line and X-Line trims, along with a 6-seater configuration featuring captain seats, the Carens range enhances its premium positioning while retaining its strengths of practicality and versatility.
