Kia India Launches MY26 Carens Clavis with New GT-Line, X-Line Trims; Prices Start at ₹11.20 Lakh
New Delhi, March 19, 2026: Kia India has officially introduced the MY26 edition of the Kia Carens Clavis, expanding its premium family mover lineup with new GT-Line and X-Line trims, enhanced feature offerings, and advanced safety technologies. The updated model range aims to deliver a more premium and feature-rich experience for Indian customers, with select variants priced under ₹20 lakh (ex-showroom).
New GT-Line and X-Line Trims Introduced
The MY26 update brings a sportier and more SUV-inspired appeal to the Carens Clavis with the introduction of GT-Line (GTX and GTX+) and X-Line trims. These variants are powered by the G1.5 turbo-petrol engine and feature distinctive styling upgrades.
The GT-Line trims get enhancements such as black high-gloss roof rails and ORVMs, redesigned front bumpers with LED fog lamps, new alloy wheels, lime-colored brake calipers, and metal pedals. Meanwhile, the X-Line trim offers a more rugged look with an exclusive Dark Gun Metal exterior shade alongside Aurora Black Pearl, along with six-seater captain seat configurations.
Additionally, advanced features like Digital Key technology are available in higher trims such as GTX+ and X-Line, enhancing convenience and connectivity.
Enhanced Features Across Mid Variants
Kia has strengthened the mid-range trims by introducing premium features that were previously limited to higher variants. The HTK+ trim now comes with an electric sunroof, while HTK+(O) and above trims get a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, and a dashcam.
These updates are aimed at making premium features more accessible to a broader range of buyers in the segment.
Focus on Safety with ADAS Introduction
In line with growing consumer demand for safety, Kia has introduced a new HTX(O) A trim equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package for the turbo-petrol variant. This brings features such as enhanced driver aids into the sub-₹20 lakh price bracket.
The MY26 Carens Clavis also benefits from Idle Stop Go (ISG) technology, which helps improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions during idle conditions in city traffic.
Powertrain and Transmission Options
The updated Carens Clavis continues to offer multiple engine options, including:
- G1.5 petrol
- G1.5 turbo-petrol
- D1.5 diesel
Transmission options include manual (MT), intelligent manual transmission (iMT), 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and 6-speed automatic (AT), catering to a wide range of driving preferences.
