India, March 17, 2026: Renault India has officially launched the all-new Renault Duster, with prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The highly anticipated SUV is now being dispatched nationwide, marking a significant comeback for one of India’s most iconic compact SUVs.

Built on the advanced Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), the new Duster focuses on robustness, efficiency, and future-ready mobility, while retaining its rugged SUV DNA with strong proportions, high ground clearance, and impressive approach and departure angles.


Powerful Turbo Engines and Enhanced Driving Dynamics

The new Renault Duster offers two turbo-petrol engine options:

  • Turbo TCe 100: 100 PS, 166 Nm
  • Turbo TCe 160: 163 PS, 280 Nm

The more powerful Turbo TCe 160 engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT, calibrated specifically for Indian driving conditions.

Vehicle dynamics have been validated by global testing agency IDIADA, ensuring superior ride quality, handling, steering precision, and braking performance across varied terrains.


Hybrid Variant Sees Strong Demand

Renault has also introduced the E-Tech Strong Hybrid, combining a 1.8-litre engine with a 1.4 kWh battery, enabling up to 80% electric driving in city conditions.

The hybrid variant has already generated significant interest, with nearly 40% of metro customers opting for it during pre-bookings. Renault confirmed that its 2026 hybrid production capacity is fully booked, with fresh bookings expected to reopen closer to Diwali deliveries.

Inside, the new Duster offers a driver-focused cockpit with enhanced ergonomics, visibility, and comfort. The highlight is the OpenR Link multimedia system with Google Automotive Services, including:

The Turbo TCe 100 starts at ₹10.49 lakh, while the Turbo TCe 160 range goes up to ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the R-Pass pre-booking programme, customers can avail introductory pricing starting at ₹10.29 lakh, valid until March 31, 2026.
