Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team Unveils F1 ACADEMY 2026 Livery for Mathilda Paatz

Silverstone, February 24, 2026: The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has officially revealed its 2026 F1 ACADEMY car livery, which will be driven by rising German talent Mathilda Paatz in her debut campaign in the all-female championship.

The striking design showcases the team’s iconic racing green and mirrors the elegant AMR26 Formula 1 livery, proudly displaying the Aston Martin Aramco identity on the F1 ACADEMY grid. The car is operated by PREMA Racing, one of junior motorsport’s most successful outfits.

Paatz first took to the track in the newly unveiled livery during the official pre-season test at Shanghai International Circuit from 11–13 February, gaining valuable mileage ahead of the season opener.

Speaking about her first experience in the Aston Martin colours, Paatz said the moment felt “really special.”

“Seeing the Aston Martin Aramco livery on the car for the first time was incredible and instantly made me feel part of the team,” she said. “Testing in Shanghai was a big learning experience. There were challenging moments, but we’re working hard with PREMA to prepare for the first race in China.”

The 17-year-old added that she is focusing on steady progress rather than immediate results. “I’m not setting my expectations too high. My goal is to deliver my best performance and have a clean weekend I can be proud of.”

The 2026 F1 ACADEMY season begins at Shanghai International Circuit from 13–15 March.

Who Is Mathilda Paatz? Rising German Star in F1 ACADEMY 2026

Hailing from Cologne, Germany, Mathilda Paatz joined the Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy in November 2025 and was confirmed as the team’s F1 ACADEMY representative for the 2026 season.

Transitioning to single-seaters, she became the first female driver supported by the ADAC Motorsport Junior program in 2024, competing in F4 France. In 2025, she enjoyed further success with four wins in the E4 Championship – Trophy Woman and multiple class podiums in the highly competitive Italian F4 Championship.

Her F1 ACADEMY debut came as a Wild Card entry in Montreal in 2025 with Hitech TGR. She also impressed in the F4 Central European Zone Championship, finishing eighth overall and claiming a podium at the Red Bull Ring.

With strong performances across multiple championships, Paatz becomes the second F4 CEZ graduate to step up to F1 ACADEMY, underlining her rapid progression on the international stage.
