Samsung Launches Galaxy F70e 5G in India, Targeting Gen Z with 50MP Camera and 120Hz Display

New Delhi – February 2026: Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy F70e 5G, the first smartphone in its all-new Galaxy F70 Series. Designed for value-driven Gen Z consumers, the device focuses on an enhanced camera experience, an ultra-smooth display, long battery life, and a premium leather-pattern finish.

Commenting on the launch, Akshay S. Rao, Director, MX Business, Samsung India, said the Galaxy F70e 5G reflects Samsung’s commitment to delivering meaningful innovations for young consumers who create and share content daily. He highlighted the smartphone’s best-in-segment camera capabilities, 120Hz refresh rate display, and premium design as key differentiators in the competitive value smartphone segment.

The Galaxy F70e 5G features a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a depth sensor to deliver sharper portraits with natural background blur in both daylight and low-light conditions. Samsung’s Night Mode enhances image clarity in dim environments while maintaining balanced exposure in bright scenes. An 8MP front camera supports clear selfies and video calls, catering to social media users and content creators.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling, faster touch response, and an immersive viewing experience. High Brightness Mode (HBM) ensures clear visibility even in outdoor lighting, making it suitable for video streaming, gaming, and everyday browsing.

In terms of design, the Galaxy F70e 5G features a sleek 8.2mm profile and a premium leather-pattern back finish, available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. The smartphone also carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, enhancing durability for daily use and outdoor conditions.

Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery, delivering up to two days of usage on a single charge. The phone supports 25W fast charging and is optimised through Samsung’s latest One UI 8 software to ensure long-term power efficiency. The Galaxy F70e 5G runs on One UI 8 and offers six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates.
