itel Launches A100 Smartphone in India with Military-Grade Durability and Ultralink Connectivity

New Delhi – February 2026: itel has announced the launch of the itel A100 smartphone, a new budget device designed to combine durability, stylish design, and affordability for value-conscious consumers across Bharat.

Positioned as a “built-to-last” smartphone, the itel A100 comes with military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification, offering enhanced resistance to everyday wear and tear. The smartphone also features itel’s Ultralink technology, enabling connectivity even in areas with limited or no network coverage, making it suitable for users in remote and semi-urban regions.

The itel A100 is available in two memory configurations—3GB RAM (+5GB virtual RAM) and 4GB RAM (+8GB virtual RAM)—both paired with 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is priced at INR 6,799 for the 3GB variant and INR 7,499 for the 4GB variant, and is available at retail stores across India. itel is also offering a free screen replacement within 100 days, reinforcing its focus on reliability and long-term usage.

Commenting on the launch, Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of itel India, said the A100 is designed for consumers who view smartphones as an essential, long-term investment. He added that despite rising global component costs, itel has prioritised accessibility by delivering practical innovations such as military-grade durability and Ultralink at an affordable price point.

The itel A100 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals and vibrant colours. Audio is powered by DTS-enhanced speakers, while the Dynamic Bar interface provides quick access to notifications, calls, and battery status without disrupting usage.

In the camera department, the smartphone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera supported by advanced image processing for clear and vivid photos, along with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The inclusion of an IR blaster allows users to control household appliances such as televisions and air conditioners directly from the phone.

Powering the device is an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor, paired with Android 15 Go edition, enabling smooth multitasking, gaming, and everyday app usage. The itel A100 also features face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security and convenience.

Backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charger, the smartphone delivers all-day performance. The itel A100 is available in Silk Green, Pure Black, and Titanium Gold colour options, combining durability with a premium look in the entry-level smartphone segment.
