Honda Launches Dio 125 X-Edition and Shine 125 Limited Edition in India; Prices Start at INR 86,211

New Delhi — Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its 125cc portfolio with the launch of two new special-edition models—the Dio 125 X-Edition and the Shine 125 Limited Edition—aimed at today’s evolving two-wheeler customers. Priced at INR 87,733 and INR 86,211 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new editions bring refreshed styling, premium design updates, and distinctive visual identities to two of Honda’s most popular nameplates.

Introducing the new models, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI, said the special editions reflect Honda’s focus on meeting the aspirations of India’s new-age riders while maintaining the brand’s core strengths of reliability and confidence. He added that the Dio 125 X-Edition and Shine 125 Limited Edition combine expressive design with trusted Honda quality for a confident and effortless riding experience.

Dio 125 X-Edition: Youthful and Expressive

The Dio 125 X-Edition has been designed to appeal to Gen Z and young working professionals, featuring exclusive X-Edition graphics on the body panels and a bold dual-tone colour scheme. Offered in Pearl Deep Ground Grey with Pearl Siren Blue, the scooter draws inspiration from a cyber-drift theme, giving it a dynamic and energetic stance.

Enhancing its sporty character further, the Dio 125 X-Edition is equipped with Mat Frash coloured alloy wheels and distinctive side decals highlighting the “X-factor.” These design elements underline the scooter’s expressive personality and independent spirit, reinforcing its appeal among style-conscious urban riders.

Shine 125 Limited Edition: Clean, Timeless Design

The Shine 125 Limited Edition builds on the legacy of one of India’s most trusted 125cc motorcycles, now presented with a modern, minimalist design philosophy. The motorcycle features refined new graphics that preserve the Shine’s iconic identity while elevating its premium appeal.

Available in Pearl Siren Blue, the Limited Edition is complemented by pyrite brown-finished alloy wheels, adding a touch of sophistication. The overall design focuses on clean surfaces and functional simplicity, enhancing everyday comfort and ease of ownership.

Availability and Bookings

Bookings for both the Dio 125 X-Edition and Shine 125 Limited Edition are now open across India. Customers can place orders online via the Honda Two Wheelers India website or by visiting authorised HMSI dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from the second week of February.
