Audi Revolut F1 Team Signs Emma Felbermayr for 2026 F1 Academy Season
Ingolstadt — Audi Revolut F1 Team has announced that Emma Felbermayr will represent the team in the 2026 F1 Academy season, marking a significant step in Audi’s commitment to developing female talent in motorsport. Following a strong debut campaign in 2025, which included her maiden race victory, Felbermayr will continue for a second season in the all-female championship, now competing in full Audi Revolut F1 Team colours.
Felbermayr’s integration into Audi’s Formula 1 project sees her become part of the Audi Driver Development Programme, where she will benefit from the brand’s technical expertise, performance resources and structured support. She will contest the 2026 F1 Academy season in a Rodin Motorsport-operated car, competing on the global stage alongside Formula One Grands Prix.
The announcement reinforces Audi’s long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion in motorsport. By welcoming Felbermayr into its racing operations, Audi continues a heritage of supporting trailblazing female drivers, a legacy defined by icons such as World Rally Championship legend Michèle Mouton and sportscar racing stalwart Rahel Frey.
F1 Academy, which races as part of the official Formula One Grand Prix calendar, provides a global platform for the next generation of female racing talent. As a key representative of Audi Revolut F1 Team within the series, Felbermayr will play an important role as the manufacturer prepares for a new era in top-level motorsport.
Allan McNish, Director of the Audi Driver Development Programme, said the team was pleased to welcome Felbermayr into the Audi Revolut F1 Team family, highlighting her impressive performance and dedication during her rookie F1 Academy season. He added that supporting female drivers remains a core priority for Audi’s Formula 1 ambitions.
Felbermayr described the opportunity to continue in F1 Academy as an official Audi Revolut F1 Team driver as a major milestone in her career. She said representing a brand with such a rich motorsport history is deeply motivating, and expressed her determination to build on last season’s progress while fighting for strong results in 2026.
With this signing, Audi Revolut F1 Team further strengthens its presence in F1 Academy, aligning driver development, diversity initiatives and brand heritage as it prepares for its future in Formula One.
