Xiaomi Launches REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series in India With 200MP Camera and EV-Grade Battery

Bengaluru | 4 February 2026 — Xiaomi India has announced the India sale of the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, expanding its premium mid-range smartphone portfolio with a strong focus on camera innovation, durability and long-lasting performance.

Positioned as a well-rounded smartphone experience, the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series brings together Xiaomi’s new 200 MasterPixel Camera System, REDMI Titan durability, powerful processors and immersive entertainment features tailored to the evolving needs of Indian consumers.

200MP Camera Debuts With MasterPixel Imaging

At the heart of the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series is the global debut of the 200MP HPE image sensor, featuring a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and f/1.65 aperture for improved low-light photography and natural depth. The camera system supports up to 4x optical-level in-sensor zoom, enabling detailed shots across travel, portraits and everyday photography.

Camera features include ultra-clear portrait algorithms, Dynamic Shots 2.0, and direct sharing to Instagram and WhatsApp. Editing is enhanced through the AI Creativity Assistant, along with tools such as AI Remove Reflectionand AI Beautify, delivering polished results even in challenging lighting conditions.

Battery performance is a key highlight of the series. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 6,500mAh EV-grade Silicon-Carbon battery, supporting 100W Xiaomi HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging. The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G features a 6,580mAh EV-grade battery with 45W fast charging.

Both smartphones ship with a charger in the box and are rated to retain 80 percent or more battery capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, translating to up to six years of typical usage. Reverse charging allows users to power accessories or charge another smartphone when required.

REDMI Titan Durability and Water Resistance

Built on the REDMI Titan Structure, both devices have achieved SGS Premium Performance Certification. Reinforced internals, a strengthened mid-frame and multi-layer shock absorption are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offering drop resistance of up to 2.5 metres.

The smartphones meet IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K standards and are certified to withstand water immersion up to two metres for 24 hours. The devices feature a 17.34 cm near-borderless display with peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and triple TÜV certifications for eye comfort. Audio performance includes a 400 percent volume boost, delivering louder and clearer sound for calls and entertainment.

Pricing and Availability in India

The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G starts at a launch price of INR 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is priced at INR 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, including bank offers of up to INR 3,000 on select HDFC, SBI and ICICI credit cards.
