Atlassian Williams F1 Team Unveils FW48 Livery Ahead of 2026 Formula 1 Season

Grove, Oxfordshire — Atlassian Williams F1 Team has officially revealed the racing livery of its 2026 Formula 1 challenger, the FW48, marking the team’s visual and competitive reset ahead of Formula 1’s all-new regulations era.

The striking new livery was unveiled at the team’s Grove headquarters in front of more than 1,200 employees, with drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz joined by Team Principal James Vowles to present the car that will spearhead Williams’ next chapter in Formula 1.

Designed to reflect the team’s bold ambition under its new identity as Atlassian Williams F1 Team, the FW48 features a vibrant gloss blue base — an unmistakable Williams signature — symbolising the strength of its title partnership with Atlassian. This is contrasted by a flowing black section sweeping from the side of the chassis to the rear of the car, framed by a red and white keyline inspired by iconic championship-winning Williams machines such as Nigel Mansell’s FW14B and Damon Hill’s FW18, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

One of the most notable updates to the 2026 livery is the expanded use of white across the sidepods, front wing and rear wing. The addition injects energy and motion into the design while enhancing the visibility of Williams’ growing portfolio of partners across the car.

The livery reveal follows the announcement of a major new global partnership with Barclays, adding further momentum to Williams’ transformation. Over recent weeks, the team has also welcomed Anthropic, BNY, Wilkinson Sword and Nuveen, strengthening its commercial platform as it targets a return to the front of the Formula 1 grid.

The FW48’s design has been shaped specifically around Formula 1’s 2026 technical regulations, which will see cars become shorter and narrower with major changes to aerodynamic surfaces, including the front and rear wings, to promote closer racing. Williams has embraced the regulation reset as an opportunity to push performance boundaries and accelerate its long-term recovery.

Atlassian Williams F1 Team enters 2026 on the back of its strongest season in nine years. In 2025, the team finished fifth in the Constructors’ Championship with 137 points, claimed podium finishes in Baku and Qatar, and secured its first-ever Sprint podium at the United States Grand Prix in Austin.

Speaking at the unveiling, Team Principal James Vowles said the new season represents a key milestone in Williams’ resurgence, while both Albon and Sainz praised the FW48’s bold, modern design and its connection to the team’s heritage.

With a refreshed identity, a strengthened driver line-up and renewed momentum, Atlassian Williams F1 Team heads into the 2026 Formula 1 season aiming to build on recent success and take another step toward championship contention.
