Toyota Kirloskar Motor Introduces Tech Package for Urban Cruiser Hyryder to Enhance Comfort and Safety

Bengaluru, India: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of a new Tech Package for its popular B-SUV, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, aimed at further enhancing driving comfort, safety, and in-cabin convenience. Designed to deliver a more connected and premium ownership experience, the Tech Package is available across all variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

The newly introduced Tech Package brings together a set of Toyota Genuine Accessories focused on smart, intuitive technology. Key features include ambient lighting to enhance cabin ambience with a refined and customisable glow, a heads-up display (HUD) that projects essential driving information to reduce driver distraction, and a digital video recorder (car dash camera) that enables continuous recording for improved safety and security.

The Tech Package will be offered at an MRP of ₹29,499 and will be available across Toyota dealerships nationwide.

Priced from ₹10.94 lakh (ex-showroom), the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has recently crossed the 200,000-unit sales milestone in India. It stands out in its segment as a self-charging strong hybrid electric SUV, delivering a fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l. The hybrid system enables the vehicle to run 40 per cent of the distance and 60 per cent of the time on electric power, offering smooth, quiet, and efficient performance.

For customers preferring conventional powertrains, the Hyryder is also available with Toyota’s Neo Drive 1.5-litre petrol engine, offered with manual and automatic transmission options, along with 2WD and 4WD configurations.
