Audi Revolut F1 Team Launches New Era in Formula 1 with Global Debut and R26 Livery Reveal in Berlin
Audi unveils full works team identity, partnerships and long-term vision at Kraftwerk Berlin
Berlin, Germany: After years of meticulous preparation, the Audi Revolut F1 Team officially ignited its new era in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, marking a historic milestone with a spectacular global debut in Berlin.
Hosted at the iconic Kraftwerk Berlin, the launch transformed the historic power station into an immersive stage for the future of motorsport. Through a striking fusion of light and sound, Audi revealed the team’s first full official Formula 1 livery, offering a glimpse into the vision, people, and technology shaping its entry as a full works team.
Berlin—widely recognised as a global hub of innovation, culture, and technology—was a deliberate choice, underlining Audi’s ambition to engage audiences beyond traditional motorsport circles. In a move to share the milestone with fans, the Kraftwerk experience will open to the public on January 21, with access granted through a ballot-based ticket system.
Audi’s Vision for Formula 1
“Today marks more than a launch; it marks the public declaration of a new era for Audi,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of Audi Motorsport AG. “Formula 1 is the most demanding stage in motorsport, and we are here not just to compete, but to define the future of Vorsprung durch Technik. Audi Revolut F1 Team is built on long-term commitment, and our goal is to be fighting for the World Championship by 2030.”
R26 Livery: A New Audi Design Language
At the heart of the launch was the unveiling of the R26 race livery for Audi’s inaugural Formula 1 season. The design is a bold expression of Audi’s new visual philosophy—clear, technical, intelligent, and emotional.
The car features a distinctive Titanium finish, contrasted with exposed Carbon Fibre elements that emphasise raw performance. These are complemented by Lava Red accents and the iconic Audi rings, a symbol reserved exclusively for the brand’s Formula 1 project.
This design philosophy extends beyond the car to define the team’s entire presence, from paddock apparel and motorhome design to pit garage colours, all unified by clean structural lines and precision detailing.
Strategic Partnerships Take Centre Stage
The Berlin event showcased the complete Audi Revolut F1 Team ecosystem for the first time. Title partner Revolutplayed a central role, reflecting a shared mindset of innovation and disruption. Guests at Kraftwerk were invited to design their own Revolut cards, hinting at a series of fan-focused activations planned throughout the season, starting in Melbourne.
The team also revealed its race and teamwear collection, co-developed with official partner adidas. Designed to mirror the car’s visual identity, the apparel blends technical precision with modern style, ensuring a unified presence on and off the track.
The collection will launch globally on February 19, 2026, alongside the debut of the team’s e-commerce platform, featuring Revolut Pay integration. It will also be available via adidas’ official online store and select global retailers, with limited-edition seasonal drops planned.
One Vision, One Works Team
Audi’s leadership emphasised the strategic advantage of entering Formula 1 as a fully integrated works team.
“Our decision to enter Formula 1 as a full works team is our greatest strength,” said Mattia Binotto, Head of the Audi F1 Project. “By integrating power unit development in Neuburg with chassis operations in Hinwil and Bicester, we control every variable—from engine block to front wing. This seamless structure is the foundation upon which championships are built.”
Jonathan Wheatley, Audi Revolut F1 Team Principal, added, “This car represents thousands of hours of work by an exceptional group of people. Today is just day one. Our goal is to build a championship DNA based on resilience, precision, and relentless curiosity, growing stronger with every lap and every race.”
Drivers Ready to Write Audi’s F1 Story
Drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto joined team leadership on stage, expressing confidence in Audi’s long-term vision.
“What I feel here is a seriousness and energy that sets this team apart,” said Hülkenberg. “Being part of Audi at the very start of its Formula 1 journey is incredibly exciting, and I’m looking forward to getting the car on track in Melbourne.”
Bortoleto added, “To race for the Four Rings is a dream come true. Audi’s legacy in motorsport is legendary, and to carry that into Formula 1 is an unbelievable honour. I’m ready to give everything to help build this new chapter.”
A Landmark Moment for Audi in Formula 1
With the global unveiling of its identity, partnerships, leadership, and drivers, the Audi Revolut F1 Team has made a bold statement of intent. As Audi embarks on its Formula 1 journey, the Berlin launch signals the beginning of a long-term mission to shape the future of motorsport at the highest level.
