Bezzecchi heads into 2026 aiming to build on a breakout season that established him as the most successful rider in Aprilia Racing history. The Italian remains focused on maintaining his place at the top of the MotoGP grid and continuing the team’s upward trajectory.

RS-GP26: The Fastest Aprilia MotoGP Bike Ever

The Aprilia RS-GP26 marks a significant technical evolution, with every area of the motorcycle refined to meet the demands of top-level MotoGP competition. Improvements span aerodynamics, chassis architecture, electronics and the V4 engine, which has undergone extensive development in all areas not restricted by regulations.

Led by Technical Director Fabiano Sterlacchini, Aprilia’s Noale-based engineering team has created what is expected to be the fastest prototype in Aprilia Racing history. The RS-GP26 also represents the final evolution of MotoGP’s current technical era, ahead of the 2027 regulation changes that will ban 1000cc engines, extreme aerodynamics and ride-height devices.

Strong Technical Support and Strategic Partnerships

Official tester Lorenzo Savadori continues in his key development role, supported by Trackhouse MotoGP Teamriders Raúl Fernández and Ai Ogura. The Trackhouse partnership remains a strategic pillar of Aprilia’s development programme, providing crucial data and accelerating innovation across the RS-GP platform.

Bezzecchi expressed strong motivation ahead of the new campaign, while Martín spoke of his determination to return to winning form once fully fit. Savadori highlighted ongoing development work, including early preparations for the 2027 regulations.
