BMW Motorrad India Announces Price Hike of Up to 6% Effective January 1, 2026

New Delhi, India: BMW Motorrad India has announced a price increase of up to 6% across its motorcycle portfolio, effective 1 January 2026. The revised pricing will apply across BMW Motorrad’s range of motorcycles available in the Indian market, including locally produced and imported models.

The company cited sustained foreign exchange pressure and rising input costs as the primary reasons behind the planned price revision.

BMW India Explains Reason Behind Price Increase

Commenting on the development, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, said,
“Pressure from forex due to the Indian Rupee’s sharp depreciation against the US Dollar and Euro has not eased for several months now, and the input costs of raw materials and logistics have been impacted. The planned price hike measure will ensure necessary profitability and continued value generation for the company as well as our dealer partners.”
