OnePlus Reveals Key Specs of Upcoming OnePlus Pad Go 2 Ahead of December 18 Sale
Global technology brand OnePlus has revealed new details about its upcoming tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go 2, confirming a powerful chipset, long-lasting battery, enhanced stylus support and an upgraded display. The device will officially launch during a livestreamed event on 17 December, and will go on sale the very next day, 18 December, targeting students and young professionals who want a tablet built for both productivity and entertainment.
MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra powers next-gen performance
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra octa-core chipset, built on an advanced 4nm process. According to OnePlus, this architecture enables smooth, efficient performance not only at launch but for years to come. The tablet has also received TÜV SÜD Fluency certification, ensuring reliable performance for up to four years.
Massive 10,050mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging
Battery life is shaping up to be one of the device’s standout strengths. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 houses a 10,050mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. On a full charge, users can expect:
- 15 hours of video playback
- 53 hours of uninterrupted music
- 60 days of standby time
The tablet also supports reverse cable charging, allowing users to boost their smartphone’s battery in emergencies — a handy feature for those on the move.
New superfast Stylo designed for creativity and productivity
OnePlus also shared details about the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, its first stylus compatible with a Pad Go device. The stylus is engineered for precision note-taking, sketching and productivity tasks. It features superfast charging, with just 10 minutes of charging delivering half a day of writing or drawing performance.
12.1-inch high-DPI display with Dolby Vision support
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch (30.73cm) display with 284ppi, 900 nits HBM brightness, and 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage, offering vibrant visuals for content consumption and work. With a 7:5 aspect ratio and 88.5% screen-to-body ratio, users get more usable screen area for reading, editing documents, and multitasking.
The display is TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0 certified, ensuring all-day comfort, and supports Dolby Vision for enhanced HDR playback.
Paired with OnePlus’ self-developed Open Canvas software, users can easily access split-screen mode, multitask across windows, and maximise the large-format display.
