Ather Energy Launches Rizta in Sri Lanka at Colombo Motor Show 2025, Expands International EV Footprint

Ather Energy Limited, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced the launch of the Ather Rizta in Sri Lanka at the Colombo Motor Show 2025. The launch, executed in partnership with Evolution Auto Pvt. Ltd, the company’s authorised distributor in Sri Lanka, marks a major milestone in Ather’s expanding international strategy.

Strengthening Ather’s Presence in Sri Lanka

Ather entered the Sri Lankan market in December 2024 with the Ather 450X, and has since built a strong and growing network across the country. As of today, Evolution Auto operates 40 Ather Experience Centers, giving customers access to sales, services, and product demonstrations.

To support seamless EV ownership, Ather has also deployed its fast-charging network — Ather Grid — offering convenient, accessible, and reliable charging infrastructure across Sri Lanka.

Ather’s Accelerating Global Expansion

Sri Lanka is Ather’s second international market after Nepal, where it launched in November 2023. In Nepal, the brand has rapidly scaled to 9 Experience Centres and 7 Service Centres across key regions.

In India, Ather continues to grow at pace with a robust network of 524 Experience Centres and 3,643 Ather Grid fast-charging stations as of 30 September 2025 — making it one of the largest EV retail and charging networks in the country.
