Tata Motors Unveils Production-Ready Tata Sierra; Showcases Creative Collaborations with Leading Indian Brands
Mumbai, November 15, 2025 — Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has officially unveiled the production-ready version of the legendary Tata Sierra, marking a powerful comeback for one of India’s most iconic SUVs. Revealed at the first-ever Sierra Brand Day, the all-new Sierra blends heritage, emotion and modern design innovation—reimagined for a new generation of explorers. The SUV will make its market debut on 25 November 2025.
Celebrated as a cultural icon since its 1991 debut, the Tata Sierra retains its signature silhouette and spirit while evolving into a bold, future-forward SUV designed around individuality, freedom, and adventure. The unveiling event traced the Sierra’s journey from its original form to the contemporary avatar, showcasing its emotional connect with India across decades.
“A Living Symbol of Indian Ingenuity”
Martin Uhlarik, Vice President and Head of Global Design at Tata Motors and Executive Director of the Tata Motors Design Tech Centre (TMDTC), said the new Sierra represents more than a model relaunch.
“The Tata Sierra is much more than a name or a vehicle; it’s a living symbol of Indian ingenuity and aspiration. Reimagining a legend is not simply an act of nostalgia—it’s a testament to courageous design and innovation,” he said.
“With its timeless silhouette and indomitable spirit, the new Sierra pays homage to its roots while daring to shape tomorrow.”
Sierra Brand Day: A Celebration of Indian Creative Culture
A highlight of the event was a curated showcase of collaborations with some of India’s most original creative brands across fashion, music, lifestyle, and design. Each partnership reflects the Sierra’s ethos of freedom, originality, and self-expression.
Key Collaborations Unveiled
1. Sierra × Delhi Watch Company — Craft Meets Character
A limited-edition timepiece inspired by the SUV’s design cues, including its B-pillar lines and hidden horse motif. Only 500 numbered units will be produced.
2. Sierra × DIVINE — Freedom in Every Beat
The Sierra features in DIVINE’s latest track “You & I”, symbolising power, confidence, and unfiltered self-expression.
3. Sierra × Gully Labs — Built to Explore
A special-edition version of Gully Labs’ flagship sneaker, Dvaita, featuring Sierra-inspired topographic lines, a horse emblem, and signature yellow highlights.
