New Delhi, November 10, 2025: In a groundbreaking move for the Indian automotive sector, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, a pioneer in tyre technology and innovation, has unveiled India’s first-ever Embedded Smart Tyres for the Passenger Vehicle (PV) segment. This revolutionary launch marks a major milestone in the evolution of intelligent, connected, and sustainable mobility — setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Designed and developed entirely in-house and produced at JK Tyre’s state-of-the-art Banmore facility in Madhya Pradesh, the next-generation Smart Tyres integrate advanced sensors embedded directly within the tyre structure. These sensors continuously track key parameters such as air pressure, temperature, and potential air leaks, transmitting real-time data that enhances vehicle safety, performance, and efficiency.

The Embedded Smart Tyres will initially be available in sizes ranging from 14 to 17 inches through JK Tyre’s extensive dealership network across India.
