Ishaan Madesh Crowned Senior Max Champion as 9-Year-Old Arshi Gupta Makes History in MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship 2025
Eshanth Vengatesan and Rivaan Dev Preetham also clinch titles; champions to represent India at Rotax Grand Finals in Bahrain
Bengaluru, November 9, 2025: The MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship 2025 (Rotax Max Classes), presented by SIDVIN Energy Engineering and powered by MRF Tyres, concluded in spectacular fashion at the Meco Kartopia circuit with young stars rising to the occasion. Ishaan Madesh of Peregrine Racing dominated the field to clinch the Senior Max title, while 9-year-old Arshi Gupta of Leapfrog Racing made history by becoming the first-ever female National Champion in the 21-year history of the Rotax Max Championship, winning the Micro Max crown.
The championship finale saw intense action and skillful performances across categories as India’s best karters battled for top honours. The winners — Ishaan Madesh, Eshanth Vengatesan (Junior Max), and Rivaan Dev Preetham (Mini Max) — will now represent India at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain, scheduled from November 29 to December 6, 2025.
Dominant Display by Ishaan Madesh in Senior Max
Bengaluru’s Ishaan Madesh reaffirmed his status as one of India’s top karting talents with a clean sweep in both Round 5 and Round 6, winning all Pre-Finals and Finals across the weekend. Displaying remarkable composure under pressure, Ishaan led Peregrine Racing to the Team Championship, while Gabriel Irigaray Baur of Jaipur was named Best Rookie in the Senior Max class.

Eshanth Vengatesan Secures Junior Max Title
Chennai’s Eshanth Vengatesan of MSPORT did just enough to maintain his lead in the Junior Max championship, finishing the season ahead despite Kiaan Shah’s double victory in the final round. The result also secured MSPORTthe Team Championship, with Armaan Dhawan (Leapfrog Racing) named Best Rookie.

In the Mini Max category, Chennai’s Rivaan Dev Preetham (MSPORT) clinched his third national title — adding to his two previous Micro Max crowns. Playing it smart, Rivaan focused on points rather than battling for the race win, finishing second in the final to secure the overall title. Hamza Balasinorwala of Crest Motorsports won the race, while Yasvinraam Rajamanickam (Momentum Motorsports) took home Best Rookie honours.

Arshi Gupta Creates History in Micro Max
The day’s biggest story was undoubtedly 9-year-old Arshi Gupta from Faridabad. Competing for Leapfrog Racing, she fought her way from mid-grid to win the Pre-Finals, before dominating the Finals from pole position. Her back-to-back wins sealed the Micro Max National Championship, making her the first-ever female title winner in the event’s history. Leapfrog Racing also claimed the Team Championship, while Micah Hayden Andrews (Peregrine Racing) earned the Best Rookie award.
