Mumbai, November 1, 2025 – Kia India has announced a record-breaking milestone, achieving its highest-ever monthly sales performance in October 2025 with 29,556 units sold, marking a remarkable 30% year-on-year growth over the 22,735 units sold in October 2024. This achievement underscores the brand’s accelerating momentum and growing dominance in India’s fiercely competitive automotive market.
Leading Kia India’s stellar performance was the Kia Sonet, which registered its highest-ever sales of 12,745 units, emerging as the key contributor to the company’s success. The Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV — the brand’s latest entrants — also made a significant impact, posting a record combined sales of 8,779 units. Meanwhile, Kia’s flagship SUV, the Seltos, continued to maintain strong demand with 7,130 units sold, reaffirming its status as a customer favorite in the midsize SUV segment.
A highlight of Kia’s performance was the Carens Clavis EV, India’s first made-in-India 7-seater mass-premium electric vehicle, which has received an enthusiastic market response. The EV’s strong performance reflects Kia’s growing strength in the sustainable mobility segment and its commitment to a greener future.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President and National Head, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said:
“October 2025 marks a historic milestone in Kia India’s journey. This is a testament to the trust of millions of customers who believe in Kia’s promise of innovation and progress. Our diverse product portfolio continues to connect strongly with evolving consumer needs. The growing contribution of our EV range further validates our direction toward future-ready, sustainable mobility solutions for India. This achievement inspires us to continue delivering vehicles that combine technology, safety, and style for a progressive driving experience.”
With this record-breaking performance, Kia India has surpassed all previous sales benchmarks, reinforcing its reputation as one of India’s most trusted and fastest-growing automobile brands.
In the year-to-date (YTD) performance for 2025, Kia India has sold 236,138 units, registering nearly 10% growthcompared to 215,443 units during the same period last year. The strong performance was further supported by favorable GST reforms, improved affordability, and positive festive season demand.
Kia India’s steady growth is powered by its customer-centric innovation, localized production, and expanding network footprint across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. With continued investments in digitalization, advanced technology, and India-focused products, Kia is well-positioned to drive the next phase of mobility transformation in the country.
