Gurugram, November 1, 2025: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced robust sales figures for October 2025, registering total monthly sales of 69,894 units. The company recorded domestic sales of 53,792 units and export sales of 16,102 units, marking an 11% year-on-year growth in exports.
The strong performance reflects sustained consumer enthusiasm during the festive season, bolstered by the success of Hyundai’s popular SUVs — the CRETA and VENUE — and positive industry momentum following GST 2.0 reforms.
SUV Duo CRETA and VENUE Achieve Second-Highest Monthly Sales
Hyundai’s best-selling SUV pair, the CRETA and VENUE, achieved their second-highest combined monthly sales ever, with 30,119 units sold in October 2025. Their continued success underlines Hyundai’s leadership in India’s competitive SUV segment.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director & Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said:
“October 2025 was a month driven by the festivals of Dussehra, Dhanteras and Diwali, further complimented by the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms. This provided a significant boost to the Indian automotive industry.
At Hyundai Motor India, we witnessed robust market demand and high consumer enthusiasm leading to second highest monthly sales of our formidable SUV duo – the Hyundai CRETA and VENUE combined. We expect to accelerate this momentum with the upcoming launch of the all-new Hyundai VENUE, which is already open for bookings. With its refreshed design, advanced premium features and segment-leading technology and safety, we are confident that the all-new Hyundai VENUE will redefine benchmarks in the compact SUV space.”
Festive Season and GST 2.0 Fuel Automotive Momentum
The festive period — spanning Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali — combined with the positive macroeconomic impact of GST 2.0, helped drive retail demand across India’s automotive market. Hyundai Motor India capitalized on this momentum with strong deliveries and sustained customer engagement.
