Nissan Motor India Celebrates Export of 1.2 Millionth Vehicle, Strengthening ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ Vision

Chennai, October 30, 2025: Nissan Motor India has reached a major milestone in its export journey with the dispatch of its 1.2 millionth vehicle from India, underscoring its strong commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ initiative. The landmark vehicle — a New Nissan Magnite B-SUV — was ceremoniously flagged off by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, at Kamarajar Port, Ennore, Tamil Nadu.

This achievement reaffirms India’s critical role as a global export hub for Nissan within the Africa, Middle East, India, Europe & Oceania (AMIEO) region.

Nissan’s Expanding Global Footprint

Since the start of its export operations, Nissan Motor India has shipped a wide range of models — including the Nissan Magnite, Nissan Sunny, Nissan Kicks, and Nissan Micra — to more than 65 international markets across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

The arrival of the New Nissan Magnite has further strengthened Nissan’s export strategy, covering both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) markets, thereby expanding the brand’s global presence and reach.
