Oscar Piastri’s Bahrain GP Helmet Sells for A$107,000 to Support Children’s Cancer Charity

Melbourne, Australia – October 25, 2025:
A race-used Oscar Piastri helmet worn during the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix has sold for an astonishing A$107,000 (£52,000 GBP) at auction — with all proceeds donated to My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, a cause close to the Australian Formula 1® driver’s heart.

The helmet, auctioned through F1® Authentics, marks one of only a few race-worn pieces Piastri has ever released to the public, making it a highly coveted collector’s item. The piece was worn by the McLaren F1® Team driver during the opening round of the 2024 season — a campaign that would later see Piastri take his maiden Formula 1 victoryand emerge as a championship contender in 2025.

Supporting a Cause That Matters

The proceeds will go directly to My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, a volunteer-led Australian organisation that provides vital support for children and families affected by cancer.
