Magenta Mobility Restructures Leadership Team to Drive Next Phase of EV Logistics Growth in India

Mumbai, September 29, 2025 – Magenta Mobility has announced a significant leadership realignment as part of its strategy to accelerate growth in the electrification of cargo movement.

Under the new structure, Founder Maxson Lewis will transition from his current role as CEO and Director to become Founder & Chairman, while Sujit Cherian has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Magenta Mobility.

This leadership transition comes at a crucial time as India intensifies efforts toward its net-zero commitments and rapid electrification of logistics. With a sharpened operational focus and continuity in vision, Magenta aims to capture emerging opportunities in EV fleet electrification, clean energy collaborations, and nationwide mobility partnerships.

Leadership for the Future of Clean Mobility

In his new role as CEO, Sujit Cherian will be responsible for driving Magenta’s strategic vision, operational excellence, commercial partnerships, and market expansion. Meanwhile, Founder & Chairman Maxson Lewiswill focus on long-term strategy, technology development, industry alliances, and global opportunities that further Magenta’s mission of decarbonising transport.
