Pune, Maharashtra, September 25, 2025 – In a landmark step for India’s clean mobility journey, Range-X by Kinetic India has successfully rolled out its first Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery from the company’s state-of-the-art Ahilya Nagar facility. This milestone marks a significant advancement in India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, combining safety, durability, and sustainability to meet the growing demand for clean transportation.

Powering the Kinetic DX EV and Beyond

The newly launched Range-X LFP battery is AIS 156 certified and will initially power the recently introduced Kinetic DX EV, Kinetic India’s flagship electric two-wheeler. With features like superior thermal stability, long cycle life of 2,000–3,000 cycles, and smart Battery Management System (BMS), the battery promises enhanced safety, performance, and reliability. Going forward, Range-X batteries will also be extended to a wider range of electric two- and three-wheelers across India.

Advanced Technology and Sustainable Manufacturing

The Ahilya Nagar facility is equipped with a fully automated, IoT-enabled, and POKE-YOKE-equipped production line with stage-wise inspections to ensure precision, quality, and sustainability. Each Range-X LFP battery is engineered to be “Longer, Safer & Superior,” representing the perfect balance of cutting-edge engineering and eco-conscious design.
