Mobility Resort Motegi, Japan – September 24, 2025 – The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team has landed in Japan for Round 17 of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, a race of special importance as it marks Yamaha’s home Grand Prix at the legendary Mobility Resort Motegi.

Before the on-track action begins, Yamaha’s riders Fabio Quartararo, Álex Rins, Franco Morbidelli, and Jack Miller visited Yamaha Motor headquarters in Hamamatsu, where they greeted employees and expressed gratitude for their continued support. Rins and Miller also joined MotoGP’s official pre-event in Tokyo, interacting with fans and celebrating the strong connection between MotoGP and Japanese motorsport culture.

Quartararo and Rins Ready for the Challenge

Quartararo, currently ninth in the championship standings, is eager to collect solid points at Motegi. Having secured a podium finish here in 2019, the Frenchman is motivated to perform strongly in front of Yamaha’s home fans after meeting Yamaha Motor Co.’s senior leadership and passionate staff earlier this week.

Álex Rins, sitting in 19th place in the standings, is equally determined to make an impact. The Spaniard has fond memories of the Motegi circuit, where he celebrated a third-place finish in 2018. After engaging with fans in Tokyo, Rins is keen to capitalize on the energy and passion of the Japanese supporters.
