Tokyo, September 2025 – Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has officially confirmed the contract renewal of Jack Miller as a rider for the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team for the 2026 MotoGP season, securing its line-up alongside two-time WorldSBK Champion and current leader Toprak Razgatlıoğlu.

Miller rejoined Pramac Racing this year after previously racing with the team from 2018–2020. In his debut season back on the Yamaha YZR-M1, the Australian has contributed significantly to the bike’s development, achieving a best race finish of fifth place at the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin. During the summer break, Miller also helped Yamaha’s factory team secure second place in the prestigious 46th Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race.

Yamaha on Miller’s Contract Renewal

Paolo Pavesio, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, praised Miller’s contribution and confirmed the team’s confidence in his role for 2026:

Farewell to Miguel Oliveira

The announcement also marks the departure of Miguel Oliveira, who has been part of Yamaha’s debut season with Pramac. Despite facing setbacks from an early-season injury in Argentina, Oliveira contributed with professionalism and dedication to the YZR-M1’s development. Yamaha extended its gratitude and wished him success in future challenges.
