Nissan Motor India Partners with Spinny as Preferred Exchange Platform to Enhance Customer Benefits
Gurugram, September 4, 2025 – Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has announced a strategic partnership with Spinny, India’s leading full-stack used car platform, making it the official ‘Preferred Exchange Partner Platform’ across Nissan dealerships in India.
This industry-first collaboration between an automobile OEM and a national-level used car aggregator is designed to deliver enhanced exchange benefits for customers while unlocking new growth opportunities for Nissan’s dealer partners.
Customer-Centric Exchange Experience
Under the new program, customers exchanging their vehicles through Spinny, either directly via its platform or at Nissan dealerships, will receive exclusive exchange benefits on the purchase of new Nissan vehicles.
To ensure a seamless process, Spinny’s vehicle evaluation teams will be deployed at Nissan outlets based on customer demand and appointments. A key highlight of this initiative is the simplified exchange claim process—with Spinny’s ‘Buying Letter’ accepted as valid proof of exchange, eliminating the need for transferred RC documentation for Nissan buyers.
Boosting Dealer Profitability and Visibility
The collaboration also strengthens Nissan’s dealer network by providing additional channels to liquidate used car inventory and generate incremental sales leads. Joint marketing efforts will further amplify visibility, as Spinny will feature Nissan’s exchange offers prominently on its digital platforms, while Nissan integrates Spinny branding across its promotional campaigns.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said:
“At Nissan Motor India, we remain committed to creating greater value for both our customers and dealer partners through innovative and customer-centric solutions. Our collaboration with Spinny as a preferred exchange partner represents a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening our vehicle exchange ecosystem, enhancing the overall customer experience and contributing meaningfully to dealership growth.”
Niraj Singh, Founder & CEO of Spinny, added:
“Our partnership with Nissan Motor India is another step toward redefining how car ownership and upgrades are experienced in India. At Spinny, we continue to build on our promise of trust, transparency, and simplicity. Together with OEMs, our endeavour is to create an ecosystem where every buyer and seller feels confident and in control, and where buying or selling a car is as joyful and effortless as driving it.”
A New Benchmark for OEM–Used Car Integrations
The Nissan–Spinny partnership is expected to set a new industry benchmark for OEM–used car platform integrations, delivering a win-win proposition for customers, dealerships, and both brands. Analysts believe the move will strengthen customer trust, improve dealership profitability, and accelerate the growth of India’s organized used car ecosystem.
