Hero MotoCorp Reports 8% Growth in August 2025, Launches Glamour X 125
New Delhi, September 2, 2025: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported dispatches of 553,727 units in August 2025, marking an 8% year-on-year growth compared to 512,360 units in August 2024.
According to VAHAN data (excluding Telangana), the company registered 3.44 lakh two-wheeler registrations, underscoring sustained demand across both urban and rural markets. While the ongoing monsoon season impacted retail sales, Hero MotoCorp expects a strong revival in the upcoming festive months.
VIDA Electric Continues Growth Momentum
Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand VIDA, powered by Hero, recorded robust performance with 12,275 unit dispatches and 13,313 VAHAN registrations in August 2025. This strong demand has driven consistent market share gains both monthly and year-to-date.
Strong Global Performance
The company’s international business also delivered impressive results, achieving over 40% year-to-date growth, further strengthening Hero MotoCorp’s global footprint.
Festive Season Outlook
Industry sentiment remains optimistic ahead of the festive season, supported by favorable monsoons, rising agricultural demand, and expectations of a consumption boost driven by impending GST reforms.
Product Momentum: New Launches Driving Growth
Hero MotoCorp’s recent product launches, including the Xoom 125 and Destini 125, have attracted strong customer interest. In August, the company expanded its portfolio with the all-new Glamour X 125, a next-generation motorcycle in the 125cc deluxe segment.
