Bengaluru, September 1, 2025 – JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., one of India’s leading tyre manufacturers and a strong advocate of inclusive growth, today announced the launch of the ‘JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship Scheme 2025’.

The scholarship, first introduced in 2023, is designed exclusively for the daughters of heavy commercial vehicle drivers, recognising the vital role transporters play in driving India’s logistics backbone. The initiative aims to remove financial barriers to higher education and empower young women from underserved communities.

Supporting Higher Education for 500 Students

In just two years, the Shiksha Sarthi programme has already supported over 320 young women in their pursuit of higher education. In 2025, the scholarship will expand to benefit 500 meritorious students pursuing undergraduate studies across five states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand.

More than just financial aid, the programme reflects JK Tyre’s commitment to equal opportunities and its vision of nurturing the next generation of women achievers.
