Cadillac Formula 1 Team Signs Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez for 2026 Debut
Fishers, Indiana & Silverstone, UK – 26 August 2025: The Cadillac Formula 1 Team today confirmed the signing of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio “Checo” Pérez as its lead drivers for the team’s debut in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship™ in 2026.
Together, the duo brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and technical expertise, with over 500 Grand Prix starts, more than 100 podium finishes, and 16 race wins between them. Their arrival marks a bold step for Cadillac as it prepares to enter the world’s most prestigious motorsport series.
Bottas and Pérez Ready to Build from the Ground Up
Speaking on the announcement, Valtteri Bottas, a 10-time Grand Prix winner, said:
