2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 Launched in India with TFT Display & Bluetooth Connectivity

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has launched the 2025 Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0 in India under its widely celebrated ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign. The aggressively styled street-naked motorcycle arrives with significant tech upgrades and fresh colour options, starting at ₹1.69 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the STD variant and ₹1.80 lakh for the DLX variant.

The standout highlight of the 2025 MT-15 Version 2 DLX is the new TFT colour display with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, a feature previously seen on the R15M. The TFT console comes with Bluetooth connectivity via the Yamaha Y-Connect mobile app, allowing riders to access a wide range of features, including:

  • Maintenance Recommendations
  • Last Parking Location
  • Real-time Fuel Consumption
  • Malfunction Notifications
  • Revs Dashboard
  • Rider Ranking System

New Colours for a New Generation

In keeping with Yamaha’s trend of appealing to youthful and urban riders, the new MT-15 Version 2.0 introduces two brand-new DLX colours:

  • Ice Storm – a popular MT series global shade now debuting in India
  • Vivid Violet Metallic – bold and fresh, designed for street dominance

The STD variant also gets a makeover with a Metallic Silver Cyan paint job, joining the existing Metallic Black, ensuring that the MT-15 stands out both on the road and in the parking lot.

Performance That Packs a Punch

The 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 continues to be powered by Yamaha’s proven 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It produces:

  • 18.4 PS @ 10,000 rpm
  • 14.1 Nm of torque @ 7,500 rpm

Paired with a 6-speed gearbox and Assist & Slipper Clutch, the MT-15 ensures smooth gear transitions and enhanced control during downshifting. The Traction Control System (TCS) adds an extra layer of safety, especially in slippery or challenging riding conditions.

Chassis & Handling Inspired by MotoGP

Designed for streetfighters and corner carvers alike, the new MT-15 gets:

  • MotoGP-inspired Aluminium Swingarm for improved stability
  • Delta Box Frame for structural strength and precise handling
  • A lightweight frame, tipping the scales at just 141 kg, boosting agility in city traffic and twisty roads

These features collectively make the 2025 MT-15 a dynamic machine capable of everyday commutes and spirited rides with equal ease.
