Samsung is witnessing an unprecedented surge in demand for its latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold7, which has already gone out of stock in select markets across the country. The company has confirmed it is ramping up production at its Noida manufacturing facility to meet the overwhelming response.

Following the record-breaking 210,000 pre-orders in just 48 hours for its seventh-generation foldables — including the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE — Samsung’s innovative devices are rapidly becoming mainstream in India’s premium smartphone segment.

Major retail partners across India are also reporting that the Galaxy Z Fold7 is flying off shelves.

“Samsung’s seventh-generation foldables, especially the Z Fold7, are witnessing extraordinary traction. Many of our top outlets have already run out of stock,” said Nilesh Gupta, Director, Vijay Sales.

“The Galaxy Z Fold7 has demonstrated remarkable sales performance. Multiple flagship stores are facing stock depletion, proving strong customer enthusiasm for the foldable form factor,” added Sandeep Singh Jolly, COO, Electronics Mart India Ltd (Bajaj Electronics).

“It’s a fabulous response. Galaxy Z Fold7 stocks are getting liquidated as soon as they arrive,” shared Uvaraj Natarajan, CEO, Poorvika Mobiles.

The Armor FlexHinge in the Z Fold7 features a lighter, thinner design with a new multi-rail structure to reduce creasing.
