Eveready Launches India’s First Hybrid Torch with Dual Power Modes

Eveready Industries, India’s leading brand in flashlights and batteries, has unveiled a revolutionary product in portable lighting with the launch of the country’s first-ever Hybrid Torch. This innovative addition to Eveready’s flashlight portfolio is a dual-powered torch that combines the benefits of rechargeable and battery-operated modes, offering unmatched convenience and reliability.

The next-gen hybrid torch is a patent-applied design featuring a 1W super-bright front LED for focused lighting and a 1W side light for wider illumination — both encased in a durable ABS plastic body, ideal for daily use and rugged outdoor conditions.

What sets the torch apart is its built-in rechargeable battery, which charges fully in just 2.5 hours via a USB Type-C port. In situations where charging is not possible, users can switch to battery-operated mode using 3 x AA batteries, ensuring continuous lighting without interruptions.

The hybrid torch also includes smart safety features such as overcharge protection and deep discharge protection, which help prolong battery life. For added ease of use, the flashlight features a dual-position slide switch, a mode selection switch, and a charging indicator light.
