VinFast Opens Pre-Bookings for Premium Electric SUVs VF 7 and VF 6 in India

VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of global EV pioneer VinFast, has officially opened pre-bookings for its highly anticipated premium electric SUVs — the VF 7 and VF 6. The announcement comes after the models’ acclaimed debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.

The VF 7 and VF 6 are set to be launched in August 2025, coinciding with the grand inauguration of VinFast’s state-of-the-art EV manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Deliveries will begin shortly after.

Indian customers can reserve their vehicle starting today via VinFast showrooms or the official website VinFastAuto.inwith a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000.

Locally Assembled, Globally Designed

VinFast’s VF 7 and VF 6 are built to meet global standards while catering specifically to Indian driving conditionsand consumer expectations. From daily commutes to long-distance getaways, both models are designed to eliminate range anxiety and elevate the EV ownership experience.

The vehicles will be assembled locally at VinFast’s upcoming ₹4,100 crore Thoothukudi plant, underscoring the company’s commitment to building India as a key market and production hub. Once operational, the facility will roll out up to 150,000 EVs annually and generate 3,500 direct jobs.

VinFast has signed up 13 dealer partners to launch 32 showrooms across 27 Indian cities, creating a full-fledged 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) network. Key cities include Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Lucknow, and more.

To support seamless EV ownership, VinFast is collaborating with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to offer:

Driving Sustainability Forward

In a significant move toward sustainable mobility, VinFast has partnered with BatX Energies, an Indian clean-tech company specializing in battery recycling and rare metal recovery. The initiative is aimed at building a circular battery ecosystem and supports India’s green energy transition.
