Škoda Auto India Celebrates 25 Years in the Country with Record Growth

Celebrating 25 years in India and a 130-year global legacy, Škoda Auto has marked a significant milestone by surpassing 300 customer touchpoints across 172 cities in India. This achievement comes hot on the heels of the company recording its highest-ever half-yearly sales in H1 2025, underlining its strong momentum in one of the world’s most dynamic automotive markets.
The rapid network expansion is central to Škoda Auto India’s growth strategy, which focuses on providing unmatched customer experiences, accessible products, and consistent service quality across both urban and emerging markets.
“Our growing network makes our product range more accessible to customers, while enabling smarter, faster service with consistent quality, across the country,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India. “With a strong emphasis on ‘growing together and getting closer to customers’, we’ve expanded with both our long-term dealer partners and new partners known for customer centricity.”
Expanding Footprint Across India
Škoda Auto’s expansion strategy is built on a clear path: deepening presence in Tier 1 cities while aggressively expanding into Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. Over the last nine months alone, the brand has entered 30 new cities, with 86% of the growth coming from Tier 2 and 3 geographies. Today, 75% of Škoda’s 300 touchpoints directly cater to customers in these high-potential regions.

An all-new global sedan is also on the horizon, further strengthening the portfolio.
